Mr. Despair 01

Wow, were already starting to get some posts on the second page, feels like Im actually making progress in blogging, though no ones actually reading (;_;). Itd be nice to open the blog and see some of the comments left by readers, but I haven’t given up hope on that happening. I enjoy blogging about these things, and Ill continue to do so (not like I have anything else to do). So long as you have fun when you post, itll never seem like a chore. Now, my post on “Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei”, aka. Goodbye Dr. Despair.

"Oh my, Look at the time, its already.... wtf o'clock!"

Mr. Despairs the fine product of SHAFT and is scheduled to release 12 episodes, which seems about right for this style of anime. Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei is the story of a depressed teacher who meets a student whos the totally opposite of him. He sees everything negatively, shes sees everything positively… and I mean EVERYTHING. She thinks people hanging themselves are trying to make themselves taller. Its like a morbid version of Pani Poni Dash, but the teacher is depressing instead of eleven years old.

It would seem that all the students in Mr. Despairs class has their own personality, and there isnt going to be students with no depth or air time, much unlike shows like Haruhi and Lucky Star where you only get to see the main characters, and everyone else is just… there. It makes for more interesting “classes” and lets people choose favorites, Im personally drawn towards the one randomly wrapped in bandages and wearing an eye patch. Maybe my obsession with Bikko-chan gave me something of a fetish for chicks with eye patches. *COUGH* Anyways, heres Mr. Despair fan service to make the awkwardness go away.

CENSORING 4TL!!!!11one1
Im looking forward to more episodes of Mr. Despair it certainly proves to have its very own style of comedy, and itll be interesting to learn more about all the different students and see if theyre able to make Mr. Despair happy again. Well just have to see.
