Zero no Tsukaima 2nd Season 01

CUTE LOUISE IS CUTE

Sequel to the semi-popular series of the same name, Zero no Tsukiama is the story of a young wizard name Louise who pretty much just sucks at magic, every spell she casts ends up as an explosion. One day, as tradition for all second graders of magic school, she had to summon a “familiar”. A familiar is a magic creature whos soul purpose is to serve its master, all wizards have one. Of course, when Louise stepped up, everyone started to chuckle expecting yet another explosion. Well… they got one, but when the dust settled and eveyone looked, they saw a teenage boy sittin in the middle of the crater, looking around confused. Thus begins the story of Louise and her useless familiar, Saito.

Theres no time lapse between the two, the second season starts off the day after what happened in the last season. Which is pretty good, I don’t wanna be confused, wondering what happened the month they skipped. After only 5 minutes, I realized something new though, this season apperared to revolve around comedy moreso then the last season. It was like a comedy anime, only with a plot. Not vice-versa like before. I guess that’s okay, god knows we all like to have a good laugh every now and then, I just hope they dont devote entire episodes to skipping down the hallways blowing stuff up, and actually remember to stick to the plot. Though I lol’d pretty hard when Saito was being caught staring at all the girls. Goes to show how much time us dudes spend looking at women… but oh well, its in our programming.

"C Cup..? No...no... D CUP?!"

Not a large difference between last season and this season, which Im happy about. Whenever we hear that a new season is going to come out, we always wonder what theyre going to change, and pray they don’t ruin it by doing something stupid (See “Mai-HIME” for reference). This season looks like its going to be fun, apperantly theyre going to intoduce at least two more characters, both female. Poor Saito, its not his fault hes the only male character, when youre surrounded by cute girls… what can ya do?

Yes, Mistress

On another note, wheres my Lucky Star?! Ive got no beef with AFK, theyre a great subbing group, its my fault for being so obsessed that I constantly check for subbed releases as soon as the RAWS released. The raw was released 3 days ago, that’s enough time to sub and episode… right? RIGHT?! *Crawls into a corner and cries*

*Sniffle*… Look forward to my review of Moetan episode one… WAAAHHHHH~ ;_;
